Default Memory

I have a desktop showing 504mb of ram in windows. It should be showing 512mb like it says in the BIOS. Why do some computers do this?

Because the video processing will use some of the RAM.

Why do you have that website in your signature? Kind of smells like spam advertising for another site....

Ohh that makes sense. I never thought of that.

because i always put my websites in any of my signatures (including emails)
