I have a p-3 motherboard,compaq,I bought some memory,pc100,I keep getting an error that says the card is not compatible,what kind do I need ?

Could you give us the Exact Error? How many stick's of ram are you running in that computer,are they all PC100?

Are you sure that's an error for the Memory stick? Because I've got the exact same setup as you, and that sounds like a pci, agp, or isa error. If you have that much trouble, google the error code.
