Well if you just want an all round these two are great but i would go with Windows Media Player because its easy to use

Quicktime, Quicktime!!!! I don't know why, but I love Quicktime. It is easy for me to use, and runs very smoothly on my PCs. Dunno why, but I prefer it.

Quicktime is ok. But I hate iTunes. I dunno why, but it just that I don't like the look and user interface of iTunes.

Windows Media Player quite obviously pwns Quicktime.

Or Winamp... if you're feeling stupid.

It really depends what you're after in a Media Player - don't use iTunes!

yeah. i use windows media player 10. i think it's rather good. wut about the Jriver player i heard sometime ago? anyone heard about that? no, it's not that mp3 player iriver or wutever, it's like a media center thing.

Windows Media is good, i cant say much about the others, I don't use them.
