hey guys im still shopping around for a mother board that is compatible with my ram i already have.

will this ram

Yes they are compatible. I have that RAM and it works amazing and it is very cheap, I would really recommend it

ok cool..it has been about 8 months since i have bought ram and damn has it gone down in price. how does the mb look?. i have never used MSI before

mb looks good. I've always used asus, but I've heard that msi is quite good too.

i was looking at an asus board but everyone said it was very very picky with ram

i just built my computer with the 650i asus board runs amazing everything booted up first try and it would definatly work with that memory the only thing about it is the board runs kinda hot (40-45 under load) but this may also help you decide.

how much of a risk am i taking if i buy the open box versions/oem i have all the cables and even two sli bridges. so i do not need the accessories. do oem versions come with install disks though?

OEM won't come with any CDs or anything, just the hardware. You can easily download everything online though. Really, there's no reason not to get OEM, the price difference is substantial.
