Default Maxtor External Hard Drive Detection

Hi:

I've plugged this guy up to three different computers now, even my new one...and it doesn't show. Not in disk management, or anywhere...no signs of life.

Basically, I have to figure out any way I can get the info off of this thing, if there is a way.

Has anyone ran into the solution?

Thanks for any help.

Specs:

Pentium 4
Windows xP
One Touch Family I USB

Check cables on other devices and see what happens.
