you could do a google search for REQUIRED FILE, KF2MFC.dll

maybe a long shot it's worth the try...

all you have to do is drag that exe file you download into your max payne 2 folder and say yes to overwrite the file.

try reinstalling the game. Then overwriting that file.

but the file i downloaded is named....
dev-mp2.rar
bit wierd?

you have to unzip that thing with winrar. LOL then put the exe that is unzips into the folder.

the only thing i could think of is a new driver or graphics card beccause the file dev-mp2 is what i got i think. the dev is deviance's 'tag' what kind of graphics card u got
