Default Mator Sata and nForce4 chipsets

Was wondering if anyone knows anything about alleged problems with NForce4 chipsets not recognising Maxtor Sata drives? I heard there was a problem and hoped someone could give me an update or if anyone running this combo, could confirm (or counter) this.

The BIOS update for your motherboard shall cover it, I think. I'm pretty sure it will, anyway.
