I have a computer and a laptop to the left of me. Laptop is a public Wifi connection and my computer has the ethernet plugged in using Cox internet with a linksys router. Is there a way I can change/mask my computer or laptop's address IP completely? Kind of like a perma-proxy.

I do a lot of research about the middle east and the war on terror. No basic research, I do specific topics like IEDS how their made all that fun stuff. I'm signing for 0231 Intel Specialist USMC very soon and I don't want my shit blacklisted in security clearance. Even though I've been doing this for the right reasons, I don't want anything to look odd or sketchy.
I went for Yankee white (presidential guard) and trust me, they already know. They knew shit about me that only I should have known. Guys in black suits pulled my friends over in the middle of nowhere and asked them questions about me. If you're doing something you should'nt be, then they already know, just hope they believe that you were doing it for research.
