Default Marvell Controller Startup

I just putt a new SSD (128GB OCZ Vertex 4) into my computer yesterday and my motherboard uses Marvell controller for SATA III (6Gbps). When I enabled the Marvell controller as a boot device and installed Windows 7 on it, every time I turn on my computer now, it initializes the Marvell controller, restarts, then boots into windows.

I don't know why it has to initialize separately, it seems to me it should be able to load it into the default start up drivers. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah, I think it's also the MArvell SATA controller that doesn't actually give 6GBps SATA either, someone however correct me if I'm wrong.
