Manual uninstallation?

I tried to install doom3: resurrection of evil, but it said it couldn not determine my doom3 version.. So I decided to try and uninstall doom3.. the first time I try, it uninstalls, and now the files aren't on my hard drive anymore.. so then I try to reinstall doom3, and it only shows play and uninstall.. I can't install it.. if I try uninstalling again, nothing happens..

does doom3 appear in your 'add or remove programs' list?

Nope. Checked that already.

Edit: I got it fixed.
