I read the sticky on temperatures but I'm still not quite sure and hope if someone can ease my worries.
I have a Q9450 and in the manual it states "To ensure that this Intel processor will operate within thermal specifications, and internal ambient temperature at or below 38c is required." So I check out my Nividia control panel and it's read the processor around 32c on idle and when gaming about 35-36c. What I don't understand is if the internal ambient temperature is suppose to be at or below 38c than isn't 35-36c too hot for my CPU? What's your opinion, do you think I'm fine? Thanks. |

I am assuming you have an nVidia motherboard. I think it will be fine, but you must also remember that depending on where the sensors are it may not be 100% accurate.

Those temperatures a perfectly fine. You have nothing to worry about.
The maximum operating temperature of the CPU is 71.4°C |
