Mange to send mail to group from Outlook?

Well, I'm an administrator of my school's English club. We'll create a mailling list and the students'll sign up. But the problem here is that I can't manage hundreds of contacts with MS Outlook (i'm using Outlook 2003). I may add them in the distribution list, but it's not good cause I can't import/export from/to MS Access, where I'll manage the members' accounts (besides email address. I'll ask for their dob, classes of attending...)
Should I use a third-party sofware or is there anyway to control the distribution list of Outlook with MS Access (too, I'm using the 2003 version) Or just add them in as contacts?

PS: Is Yahoo Mail account limits the number of receipents (to avoid spamming) is yes, how many can I send for once? And Is there any other mail account permits us to send mass mailing?

Mozilla Thunderbird... the newer and better E-mail client. Plus it's free.
