Default malwarebytes issue

im using malwarebytes on my xp pro machine and it keeps popping up with the following message
malware bytes successfully blocked the following ip address,121.8.32.177
the ip address changes everytime it pops up
ive ran a scan and theres nothing infected it says but sometimes my internet doesnt open

any ideas anyone

I don't know what that IP addy is, but it's located in Guangzhou, China. It can't be good.

Maybe its the chinese again trying to hack people's networks... they did it a few weeks ago.

I would most deffenently do a system restore, or something.
maybe even a reinstall of XP

especially if you do online banking.

this is just a precaution of course.

thought it may be re-install time, means i got to do 3 computers and 4 laptops, all on same network

Does sound like some kind of virus activity. I'd reload and see what happens. Does it come up on all your computers? If not I'd only reload the one that it is happening on. It's probably more likely that just that one is infected as opposed to all of them. Of course if you don't mind doing a reload to all of them, it never hurts, regardless of the reason.
