Ubuntu 8.10
I have it installed all good.
Here is where the problem is.
I being a new linux user tried to set up so I had sudo powers on one account. (other then root)
So I tried going to the file system root right clicked > properties > permissions
Set the user and group to another account (mine) from root.
Now (later on) I reboot.
Won't start up.
I went into recovery and I noticed the lines running up the screen and one paused because it was 'waiting for root'.
Which never responded it timed out.
So what I think happened is that the root can't be accessed now because I have sorta locked myself out.
I should mention that on normal boot up my keyboard and mouse did NOT work.
Therefor that is the reason why I was on recovery.
Now for some reason recovery does not start up. (woohoo!)
so now I'm on the grub> command line.
What do I do oh knowledgeable CF gods.
