Default Magnets around computer

if you had computer speakers to close to your computer, could it fry anything in your computer (mainly HDD)

speakers have magnets inside of them (at least big ones do)

<edit> how far away should speakers be kept from computers. my speakers are only 10x4 inches (a little smaller than a paper folded in half)

just as long as they're not making the screen go an odd colour, if it isn't, they're ok where they are

Most computer speakers are magnetically shielded, which means you can get it close to you monitor or computer and it won't screw anything up with the magnet. If it's not shielded the you want to have it probably about 6 inches away.
