Default mac book vs macbook pro

the only real difference i see in the mac book pro is is a better video card and higher ram capacity and bigger screen. but is all the really worth the almost 1000 more it cost?

Default Re: mac book vs macbook pro

I'd say yes if you plan on doing a lot of multimedia stuff. It also has a faster processor which comes in handy. The higher ram capacity and better video card will help if you plan on doing a lot of graphics intensive stuff. I'd say long term it's a better deal, but if you want the smaller size of the macbook then that's a good deal too.
