hey guys/gals. i have a slight problem with a function of M$ Access.
this is a database that i have of all my CDs that i am making. i started this at school last year as a major project. now im fixing it up so that i have all my CDs information compiled into it (artist, album, tracks, genre, individual CD ID)
now when i was at school they had Access 2K i think. on our new computer we have Access 2003.
i have a query that i want to run from a table, and on the older version of access i made a table with the following information: CD_ID, Album, Artist, Genre.
now the idea was that u can click on the album name which is hyperlinked to a query to search for the tracks associated with that album name. in the 2K version of M$ Access this was possible by just clicking on the hyperlink button and linking to "an existing file" or something similar i think it was called.
now though in Access 2K3, that option is no longer available.
so my dilema is: how do i link to a query thru a link in a table in access 2003?
