Default lubricating fans?

Hey, I use 100% Pure silicone Lubricant to lubricate my Rubik's Cubes, and it works like a charm, I was thinking, maybe use some on one of my computer fans?

Would it work? Any suggestions? Besides losing the fan, what else could go wrong?

try it. I don't see how anything could go wrong, but just make sure that you don't manage to get the lubricant on the mobo or other hardware.
