low priced but decent PSU suggestions

Now I know skimping on the power supply is a bad idea but I am making a budget build computer and some of the power supplies out there are just plain ridiculously priced.
Is there any company that makes at least a semi decent PSU at around $40 to $60?
I was told never to buy a cheap psu, but when you are on a budget and watching your wallet you sometimes have to see your options.
I have got suggestions on some brands like Corsair, OCZ, Seasonic but not too many others.
I heard Cooler master PSU's are mixed and most of the others have shaky reviews.
So on a budget from $40 to $60 what PSU's with at least a semi decnt wattage can I buy?

whats your pc specs?

I will be getting: A Phenom II X4 955 Black edition
2GB of ram (though I will up that to 4 soon)
A Rosewill Challenger case
A DVD/CD burner
A gigabyte Mobo with onboard graphics
I will not be using any fancy graphics cards anytime soon so anything in the 450w to 500w range is fine for now as this is what I need to get a basic setup and later on I can expand if needed, but the more wattage I can get initially the more I can use to power up another device like a blu-ray drive, a lot of the PSU's I see in the 400w range dont have enough connections so 500w seems to fit my bill

any other suggestions?
I am just looking at models/ brands to compare.
I know seasonic is good but any others around my price range that might fit?

I'm using this one right now and it works great.

700w is allot, but if you plan on upgrading then this is great bang for the buck.

Heres two more

I have installed both these PSU's in recent builds and they are great, reliable units.

I would go Antec and Corsair over Seasonic, just from personal experience. Antec and Corsair were much more reliable than Seasonic.

Yeh the ModXStream is too pricy for me, I am trying to get the best PSU for at least 500W for now, I should not need much more then that anyhow.
