Save up for some RAM, but keep in mind that Vista is resource intensive compared to XP, so don't be suprised if you notice a difference that isn't what you'd expect.

It was stupid to go to vista, but..i mean the 64 bit version, then i saw a bunch of the features n shit..and i loved it..i had to get it lol

Not to hijack this thread or anything, but will a 8800GTS even out the FPS drop with vista on DX9 games?

if you have Aero enabled try disabling that. that should free up some ram. I was monitering a comptuer at work with aero enabled and it was only using 256MB of it's ram, and virtually nothing from the paging file. The moment i turned Aero on WHAM! it was almost at the 1 gig mark.
