i would have said student edition. doesnt need a patch or activation and works as if it were legal straight off. its apparently what they use at schools for students to test laptops and what not. worked for me.

Yeah I had a friend give me an image and a key for student edition.. I've been somewhat.. hesitant to use it though.

your loss, i had it on my old pc for ages, downloaded updates and everything perfectly fine, ive still got the disc rotting away somewhere
