Could you run your Virus, and Spyware scans (Ad-aware SE aswell)?

well as it is now, I'm around 50% through re-installing Windows and it's stopped cos I don't have the Intel PRO Adapter CD-Rom

go on www.intel.com and see if you can download the driver and then burn it to a disk and insert it on the computer.

i stupidly tried to get it from microsoft

does this mean that everything that was on my pc is gone?

Lucky I have most of it on my lap top - which I'm currently using

I'm not sure, can you give any more info on the adapeter you need as it could be any 1 of them!
