I'd get rid of kaspersky. It's a good program, but it makes your svchost processes go up and it's not exactly resource friendly. Try uninstalling it and going with AVG free edition or something else light on resources. I've played games with AVG in the background with no lag and I'm not even using a dual core system. That might help a little bit, also try googling any processes in your task manager that look suspicious or like they don't belong there.

lol. Kinda hard to say from that description, but sounds like a ping issue. Happens with all servers? If so then it would be your internet connection. But just go to some server and see what your ping is like, and check your fps too.

Download Smart protector,It will erse your internet browser password and delete cookies and temp files
(http://www.smartprotector.com/eraser/)

Maxamize your taskmanager on the tab where it shows all of the funning processes so that we can full see whats running,
i can tell by one of the screenshots that Firefox is eating lots of memory

Msconfig
Ok I Recomend that you make a backup of all of youre important stuff just incase some thing happens
1.Click on Start.
2.Hit Run.
3.Type in Msconfig.
4.Click ONLY on the tab called START UP.
5.Disable any thing that you DONT need running clicking on the check box this will disable the start up item.
Note( I unchecked every thing except Zone Alarm And AVG Anti-Virus)
6.When you are done here click apply and then ok
7. After that you will be prompted with a dialog box that says Restart or Exit Without Restart
I usaully click on restart
Note when you start youre computer back up you will be prompted with a dialog box just put a check mark in the box and then click ok

Helpfull Hint
1.Right click on you're my computer icon
2.Hit Properties
3.Click Advanced
4.Under Performance Click Settings
5.Click Adjust for Best Performance

well usually I don't have much problems as long as the ping stays under 100. But if the fps is fine and the ping is causing the problem then it's about your internet connection. Some spyware stuff could still have done this, since they could be using your bandwidth.
