Default looking for software.

I'm looking for an ad-supported (so it's free) download service. I used to have bearshare, but then I learned that it's spyware. Also, no pop-up ads. They have to be the type of ads you see in a free website like this one: Either banner or a commercial attached to each download. Oh, and it has to be policed. I don't want to download porn when I'm trying to download Spiderman 3.

Any suggestions?

There's tons of them, google it.

For a torrent client, go with uTorrent

There are many different torrent sites, but there are also torrent search engines, which will search though all of the torrent sites to find a torrent you are looking for. Such are Torrent Spy, Torrentz, and isoHunt.

torrentspy is a good site, I use that one a lot. I also use isohunt but i'm not a big torrent downloader, they're good and all but I just don't need to download that much stuff but when I do those are what I use along with utorrent.

P.S. welcome back marxsoccer.
