Default Looking for a review on a particular vid. card.

Radeon 9600XT Video Card -- 256MB. has anyone used this card and knows what quality it is??

Looking for some reviews before I drop the money on it.

even with 256mb memory, the clock speed is still slower than 9800 pro /128mb, unless you want to overclock it.

9600XT overclocked still will not have the same core speed as a 9800.

Unless the card you have is the speed of a 6800GT or above. There is no point in having 256Mb Ram of you graphics card. The GPU isn't quick enough to use the ram above 128Mb.(used for rendering).

The Radeon 9800 Pro would be the best value for money buy at the moment. It uses the AGP slot which I am guessing is what you have.

Otherwise, the best value for money card that uses the PCI-E slot would be the Geforce 6200
