Looking for a new CPU cooler

So I am looking for a new CPU cooler to replace the stock fan that came with my CPU. I am currently in a debate between two CPU coolers right now, which are:

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R1 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+

and

CORSAIR CWCH50-1
Newegg.com - CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler

Both recommend to me by my friends. Friend 1 likes his Cooler Master fan, but Friend 2 says that I would be better off getting the Corsair fan that he has. I looked at both and I can't decide which one I should get. Can anyone tell me which one I would be better off getting?

If you are looking for a high performance, cost effective heat sink, then go with the CM Hyper 212 EVO. If you are looking for something a bit better at or around the price of the Corsair CWCH50 your friend suggested, I would suggest going with a Noctua NH-D14 ($79.99)
