Default Looking for info on the 9600 GSO

So I've got the specs on the 9600 GSO I bought and it has 96 SPs at 580 MHz, and 768 MB of VRAM... what is this exactly? Its clearly G92, which would make it some form of 8800 GS right? Does this mean I could SLI with an 8800GS? According to Nvidia, this card was never made.

Is there any difference between this and an 8800GS? I'm getting really confused by NV's renaming things.

Wikipedia says it's an8800GS with a lower TDP.

According to that page, the G92 one only came in 384MB, which is what NV says as well.

Does this mean I can SLI with an 8800GS? I want to mess with SLI but I don't think it has the good compatibility of crossfire.

there are 9600GSO 768MB cards out there, I've seen them for sale, and it can't be the g94 9600GSOs because IIRC the g94 only came with 256MB or 512MB VRAM...

The G94 core only had 64 SP's and mine has 96, so it has to be a G92.

Mine is clocked 580/1000/1440
