I'm looking to upgrade my old computer to something a bit more modern. My current PC has the following specs:

OS: Windows 3.1
RAM: 8 MB
CPU: Intel Pentium overclocked @ 123 MHz
Graphics Card: Blazing 4MB VESA Compatible
5.25 & 2.5'' Floppy Drives
Modem: Motorola 28.8K

Bought this computer only 17 years ago so I don't want to buy a whole new system. Any upgrade ideas? New Pro-cessor? Windows 98 is said to be faster and more reliable...can anyone vouch for this?

hmm i would say get windows xp and get 1gb of ram and a intel 2 duo and ur computer will be on fire fAST!

in order to upgrade those he would be pretty much be starting a new build.
Its best to start a new build, theres really no point in upgrading, it might end up costing more for the time and effort to find the parts that old.

That's old-school. It would be a smarter move to start a new build. A computer that old is very limited in upgrading potential.

I'm being totally cereal....I need to upgrade this badboy and I don't want to spend a baker's dozen to do so.
