Default Looking for a Free Anti-Virus for Vista

I'm looking for a Free anti-virus for Vista.. (something good) and my frist choice was AVG, but it just doesnt want to work with Vista.. it always crashes when i start up windows.. So any idea's are welcome.. =)

Thats spyware! If you want a free AV then go with avira or AVG

Well, hey, yeah Spybot is for spyware... I got ahead of myself in posting that, but its pretty good at what it does.

NOD32 is fine just make sure you get the right version (vista) as xp version does not work with Vista

I use Avira Anti-Vir, doesn't use that much resources, auto updates. and is free!

Yes it does. You can use the same trial install file on XP and vista (32 and 64 bit versions). I have done it myself.

Well my xp version did not work on Vista home premium or ultimate when I put vista on I had to get the Vista trial & ----- version and that worked fine.
