Looking for A Chat Logger

Perhaps it isn't just a matter of trusting your own kids, but wondering what the other chatters are doing/saying. While I agree with having a conversation with your children about the positives and negatives of chatting online (I think the term "confront" is a bit aggresive and could lead to a bad experience), I think letting your kids know what parents expectations are with internet usage is important. Explain to your children the purpose for internet filters and chat loggers are for their protection. It's not a matter of trusting my children, I don't trust the internet. Some a-hole could link a children site to porn. Or maybe my children could mispell lego.com with legs.com and get the wrong site by accident. Filters could prevent that.

**Antdemo is correct ... when you have children of your own ... you'll have a totally different perspective and understand why your parents tried to set boundaries, expectations and of course the dreadful RULES. Rules may be meant to be broken, but truthfully, they're meant to protect and actually provide greater freedom.
