Hello,
I'm looking to build my first computer, and I'm looking for some help or guidance. First off I'm looking for it to have the ability to run Battle Field 3(Gaming Computer) on high settings, i would also like a pretty cool case that has a see through side panel, and preferable something that lights the case up. Size is not a problem to me so if the case is big that would be fine, either is price, of course i don't want to be spend 5000$ i would like to keep i reasonable of course like anyone would. I live in Canada and would probably use Newegg to purchase the equipment, unless you provide a better or cheaper source. I apologize if i put this in the wrong forum, it my first post and i tried to find the correct spot, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks, Taylor |

I'd suggest an Antec 300. If you send me your email address, I'll forward you a basket on Newegg. ---------- Post added at 04:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:27 PM ---------- OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom Item #:N82E16817341018 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $129.99 $89.99 1 Newegg Promotional Gift Card - $15.00 Item #:N82E168GC000001 1 XFX Radeon HD 6850 HD-685X-ZCFC Video Card Item #:N82E16814150573 Return Policy: VGA Standard Return Policy $159.99 1 AMD Gift - Dirt3 Game Coupon Item #:N82E16800995114 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $49.99 1 G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Item #:N82E16820231311 Return Policy: Memory Standard Return Policy $41.99 1 G.SKILL 4GB Micro SDHC Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Item #:N82E16820231509 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $6.99 1 Antec Three Hundred Black Computer Case Item #:N82E16811129042 Return Policy: Limited Replacement Only Return Policy $69.99 $59.99 1 ASUS M5A97 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS Item #:N82E16813131767 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $99.99 $94.99 1 AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor Item #:N82E16819103996 Return Policy: CPU Replacement Only Return Policy $109.99 1 Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive Item #:N82E16822136490 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $129.99 1 ASUS 24X DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Item #:N82E16827135204 Return Policy: Standard Return Policy $19.99 Grand Total: $706.92 blah blah blah that should give you a basic idea. Good Job Daniel, I think that should work well, 1 thing I would like to note is the 1TB/Platter drives that seagate introduced. I think he should go with the Phenom 980, Its faster than the FX, until maybe some later AM3+ chips come out.
