I just use WMP. I'm not picky about it.

I personally use "Media Player Classic" Dont know if its the best but its very simple, very quick load, easy to use. Just get the codec pack for it and u are set. The winamp has Radio & TV + the vizualation thing. VLC player is also very good, it will play 99% of all movies unlike media player or winamp.
