Before windows starts i get Loading PBR for decriptor 2... done
Thought it may be a HDD failure or corruption so i done a test using the inbuilt diagnostics and it come back fine.
Then thought it could be ram so i swapped it out with another stick but still have the same prob
Reading up on this problem I thought it may be worth doing a chk dsk scan or fixboot command using the boot cd for xp.
The cd started to work saying press any key to enter cd and then it flashed up with configuring the setup in white and then went to a black screen and nothing else is happening, pc just goes dead.
Thought it may be the cd so i tried hyrans boot cd and got to the menu but the same thing happened when i selected mini xp
Next i tried changing the CD drive but still the replacement drive (that i know is working) has the same issues.
Im a bit stumped as to what the problem is here ????????
