Question Little Pesky Registry entries

Hi everyone, My problem is this:
I have two registry entries i wish to get rid off, 1 is .tif and 2nd is .tiff. I run ccleaner regularly and keep coming up with these two issues that are apparently left-over from a previous program, having run ccleaner to delete the entries, ccleaner says the are deleted, however, they keep coming up every clean. I have tried deleting them from the registry myself but keep getting cannot delete .tif ot .tiff:error wile deleting key. I understand these are not a major issue but it is getting through to me there must be a way of deleting these. I have tried C: tools folder options Entensions but they are not listed. Can anyone help?

you can rename them to with a differnt extension like .old
that will make the key invalid.

if they really bother you that much.
and then possibly delete it.

or you could try another reg clean program such as Reg Mechanic

Well personally i wouldnt yank the Reg keys,

But have you tried doing it in safe mode?

there also are force delete programs out there, you could find them with a google search. but be careful i wouldnt want you to have to reload your system.

PS back up your data.
