Im finna get a netbook and i fount a router for it but i wanted to no i dont leave my internet on 24/7 and wanted to no if i turn off my modem thats hooked up to the router would that mess any thing up are do i have to reinstall all the time help me out and let me no....Thanxs

Once everything is set up and working properly you shouldn't have to worry about setting everything up again if the power is cut off. Although when you turn the modem back on, it may take some time for the router to reacquire the connection.

Turning the modem off will not disrupt your settings, but turning the router off will. Just a heads up.
