roflmao thats great. so much for the "linux admin"
most are hired because they know how to install/configure. not secure. i know this, because i have only taken a few classes for linux administration/security, and ive had about 20 job offers which i declined on all of them, due to them asking "5+ years UNIX admin exp." and then offering me the job. I dont think i would feel confident to that extent right now. I know my way around a linux box really well, however wouldnt want that responsibility on a linux/unix based environment, unless they were having me do "security audits" on it
then thats a diff story!
