Linux live question?

i recently got a linux live cd of admission. is it possible to run it from my hd if so how??

A linux live cd is soley used for booting linux without haveing to install it. This is more used by people who don't want linux on their system but still want to play around with it. If you would like to boot it off your harddrive just get an installation disc or download it and make and ISO disc yourself (requires DVD or CD burner). I highly reccomend mandriva, Suse, or Fedora.

I think you'd have to edit a few things. Mainly partition your drive on how you want it. Make a swap, edit /etc/fstab, your boot loader. There might be some other things. I'm assuming you know how to actually copy it to the HD you want.

well if you mean take it of the cd and drop it o my hd the yes if noit i dont have a clue and dont no aboot all the editing stuff
