Linspire is a newbie friendly distro.
Now I'm trying Ubuntu, so that's all I can tell...

Linspire is not new user friendly...
Well I take that back.. It is if you only use Linspire and CNR (Click N Run) applications..

Slow crappy software, Most linux programs you want to use dont work.. The built in crap to make windows software work is buggy at best.
80% of the time it wont connect to a windows share or harddrive..

Save yourself headaches.. stay away from this and get yourself a different Linux OS

hi, the first linux that I tried was RedHat, that was really easy. why not give that a go?? the free one is called fedora now.
