Default Linksys adapter driver

I just got Vista installed and am trying to install the driver for my Linksys wireless internet driver. It is the WUSB54GC ver. 1.0 and I put in the disk for it and then install it and then I put the adapter into the USB slot when prompted. It then asks me to put in the driver disk (which is already in). Then it says it can't find it, when it is in the drive. Weird?
