I was just curious if anybody had any recomendations as to what heatsinc works best for these

my price range right now is under $40 so if any one has some ideas for me it would be greatly apreciated

also if anybody had any recomendations as to which processor is better p4 socket 478 or the lga 775

LGA 775 is better and newer Extreme Edition and Pentium D support dual core and they all use LGA775. I would use the stock heatsink that comes with the Pentium 4 HT. Generally they do a good job with cooling, but if you plan on OCing it then perhaps an investment in aftermarket cooling is in order.
 
thanks for all the help! also any suggestions on lcd monitors? 17" preferably
 
a good 17" monitor is Samsung Syncmaster. It may be a tad on the expensive side though. And Zalman makes good after market coolers.
 
NEC's LCD Monitors have really nice colors and crispiness. I'd personally wait for OLED's to come out though.
 
does anybody know how much those "OLED" monitors would cost once the come out kuz im looking to spend a little under $250
