Hi, I was just wondering. I've been seeing all these auctions on ebay for windows vista RC1, and I happen to have windows RC1 and want to sell it myself. Is it legal to sell it? If I do can I get into trouble?

You are not allowed to sell it, period.

No, sorry i wasn't meaning you, another user spamming in the forum...sorry...

And i'm not really sure about the legality of selling RC1, but i wouldn't think you could sell it legally because a) it is, or was i should say available for free download off Microsoft and b) unless you state that it will expire (in July i think it is) you would be ripping people off, and I for one sure don't like being ripped off...just my 2 cents

You're not supposed to sell any Microsoft operating system, period.

Selling freeware (even if it's Beta or RC software) is illegal. Always has been.
