I have a Samsung Syncmaster 206BW, which I got when I built my PC around... 2006 I think it would have been?
Lately, I've noticed the LCD screen is getting worse at being seen from glancing angles, and up to 2 weeks ago I didn't notice a change, but I was standing up looking down at it, and I'm sure prior to this, I could still see colours perfectly fine.
Even straight on, I'm getting weird issues now with brightness, where stuff sometimes appears washed out
Is this normal for an aging LCD monitor?
I have no other issues. No pixels are dead or anything. Its strange. I just don't remember it being like this before...
EDIT:
It does have a TN panel which is the worst apparently for viewing angles, and maybe it was there all along, but its a tad bit weird it hasn't hit me as much as this before.
Can they degrade?
