Default LCD monitor

How do you fix stuck lines on an LCD computer monitor? I have a 19 inch LCD monitor that has pink, cyan, and yellow lines going vertically down the monitor. there are so far 6 lines.

Lines such as you describe usually indicate a bad video card. I would first try hooking up a different monitor to rule it out. If the second monitor has the same issue, then you should see about replacing the video card.

Where are the lines on the screen? I usually see this on dying LCDs, though it can be the video card, as AR suggested.

Push the settings button. If the lines go through the menu that pops up, it is the monitor for sure. If the menu pops up on top of the lines, but thenlines do not continue through it, then it is most likely video card, and you should try either another monitor, or anonther computer.
