Default larger cache is it worth it

i dont know what to get a intel p4 prescott with a 1mb cache or the one with the 2mb cache both are socket lg 775 ?? and can someone tell me what kind of difference it would make in gaming?

2 mb cache would be beter for gaming i wish a had gotten 1

Yes, especially with intels i have found that the higher the cache the better.

where can i check the size of my cache?

Nevermind, but I have L1 cache and L2 cache, what does that stand for?

be aware that the 2mb of cache has 17% more latency than the 1mb one.

true on the cache thing but with the intel no intel can't crunch numbers good enuph for games athlon is better not XP or 64 AMD athlon itself.
