Default Laptops

I was debating between a laptop or a PC. Both that im looking at are about the same price. Close to 1200$.

I would be gaming a little but mostly designing and programming. I like the portability of the laptops. The one i was looking at was only 4lbs. But then it does lack power being equipped with only a Athlon XP 2000. the video card wasn't very good either.

Does anyone know anyone know any good laptops close to my pricerange or should i just go for a PC.

Check out Dell, they make cheap laptops, you might find what you want.
