Laptop vs Netbook vs Notebook

Can somebody please explain to me the difference between laptops, netbooks and notebooks?

What can't netbooks and notebooks do that a laptop can? Do they both still have internet access, programs such as Word and how big are the hard drives?

netbooks and notebooks are a subcategory of laptops.

same thing with windows. you want windows 7..... but witch one?? home? ultimate? basic???

the difference between notebooks and netbooks is:
netbooks are designed to have more battery life and are smaller, slimmer and lighter. so they are more easy to carry around.

thay dont have cd-drive in order to be smaller.
thay also have a smaller battery, so in order to get the lifetime expected, thay have limited performance.
so thay are more for internet, email and photo use.


notebooks are designed to performe better.
they are larger so you have a decent size screen. that include that thay are havy to carry around.
thay have cd-drive.
the battery dies faster because of better performance.
