Exclamation Laptop Trouble

Hello,
This might be one of the stupidest posts that most of you might read, but here it goes:
It as night time, and I had knocked my laptop over its table, onto the floor. Knowing the damage I might have caused, I turned it off and set it down. When waking up this morning, I turned it on, and it started up fine, but when it was at the Startup screen, it blacked out and turned off. Now I am unable to turn it back on. I know that laptops are hard to deal with and repair..but any insight would be great
Thank you so much.

You might have shorted out something in your computer. The power supply to the mobo. Have bestbuy or PCclub take a look at it. I'm sure they can help you out.

Make sure the battery's in correctly, and give it a few a small smacks from underneath.
