Default Laptop Temps

I just ran Everest on my laptop and noticed the following temps -

CPU = 45c idle 55c under load and the hardrive is a constant 40c - 45c.

I expect the CPU to be a bit warmer with it being a laptop I'm more concerned about the hardrive. Is that too hot???? The laptop doesn't feel warm to the touch where the hardrive is housed.

Its a Compaq Presario 2500 with a 2.8 Celeron (Yeah I know, big mistake) with a pretty new Western Digital 40GB hardrive.

Desktop - AMD 2600+ Athlon , 1GB DDR, 256MB 9550 ATI Radeon, 120GB Hardrive.
Laptop - Compaq Presario 2500.

Default Re: Laptop Temps

The HDD is a bit hot, but the cpu is perfect for a laptop. If you ask me its nothing to worry about.

Check out my car forum..
