Which Laptop Should I Get?

I am torn between a two laptops, both are almost identical except for the CPU.

One has an A8-4500M while the other has an A6-4400M.

Other than that, both laptops have a 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM and will cost about $400 all said and done.

Do I want a lower clock speed with more cores and L2 cache or more clock speed with less cores and cache?

There are a lot of other factors to consider. What chip set do they have?

You can get them new in the box for that much if you shop around a bit.

Thanks, but $400 is about all I can spend and unfortunately I need one sooner than later.

If anyone has other suggestions for a laptop in the $400 neighborhood. I will be using it almost exclusively for work and coursework.

Additionally I will be viewing HD content and listening to music. I would like something with at least one USB 3.0 port.
