Default Laptop Screen gone worse!

I posted the other week about my laptop screen. It had a strip going down the screen were the image was darker and miscoloured. Well it's gone worse. Look at it now!! (see pics) Thing is, it goes away if I squeeze the top of the screen gently. I emailed ACER the other day, they got back to me quite fast asking for further information. I replied, but they havent gotten back in contact for several days now!!

Do you think there's something I might be able to do myself to fix it? Or just leave it to them?

Squeeze it, it goes

Maby you could shove something inbetween the LCD and the rim. I am looking at my laptop right now and that might not work unless you open it. But i wouldn't touch it until they get back to you.
